Major Merle Hootman, formerly captain at the Empire Air Base, but now at an air base near Wayne, has received his orders for Korea. Before leaving for his new assignment, he will visit Mrs. Ethel Atkinson, Mrs. Hootman, daughter of Mrs. Atkinson intends making her home in Traverse City during Major Hootman's absense in Korea. The Hootmans have two children, Harry and Reta Jean.
